Belmont University Volleyball Program Set to Open Conference Play
The Belmont Volleyball team is set to open conference play this weekend, facing Southern Illinois on Friday, November 3, 2023. The match begins at 6 PM CT in the Curb Event Center.
The Bruins, who are 5-7 on the season and coming off a sweep of Jackson State, will be looking to start Missouri Valley Conference play on a high note. Southern Illinois enters the match with a record of 6-8.
Belmont is led by senior outside hitter Jovana Davidovic, who has 181 kills, 208 digs, and 34 aces this season. Junior libero Savannah Carnahan has 228 digs, while sophomore setter Dani Garza has 422 assists.
Southern Illinois is led by senior outside hitter Tatum Tornatta, who has 220 kills, 123 digs, and 30 aces this season. Junior libero Macy Meiners has 210 digs, while sophomore setter Addison Bevic has 432 assists.
The match will be streamed live on ESPN+ and will be available on the radio on WVFN 104.1 FM.
