Sandro Wagner was born on November 29, 1987, in Munich, Germany. He began his professional football career in 2006 with Bayern Munich II, the reserve team of Bayern Munich.

Senior Club Career

Wagner played for various German clubs throughout his career, including Hertha BSC, Werder Bremen, and Bayern Munich. He also had brief stints with English club Leicester City and Chinese club Tianjin Teda.

International Career

Wagner represented Germany at various youth levels and made two appearances for the senior national team in 2017.

Managerial Career

After retiring from playing in 2019, Wagner became the assistant manager of Bayern Munich's reserve team. In 2021, he was appointed manager of Switzerland's Young Boys.
